First Consultation
As with face to face consultation this includes full history taking and review of your previous health summary over the phone or video. We would prefer if you could arrange a referral from your GP. Communication with your GP will help us prescribe medications in a timely manner and also helps plan care (e.g. arranging investigations).
Following the assessment you will be given an initial plan which may include further tests, medication or talking therapy. We will write to your GP to inform about the plan.
Follow up Consultation
This includes assessing for response to treatment or feedback from results investigation results. Sometimes change of treatment plan is required if the initial plan has not helped. This will be discussed in follow up appointment. We will write to your GP after every appointment .
Group Consultation
If your family would like to join the consultation, they can. They maybe in any part of the world. We can facilitate group consultation. You will have to provide written consent (can be email) for your family to join in. We would also need contact details of the platform you wish to use e.g. Skype/Zoom/What’s App Video
Triage Consultation
If you are not sure if you need a psychiatrist or what type of treatment you require, we will be able to help you in identifying best course of action. We offer 15 mts. triage appointments to establish what you would need .
